The Flying Ferret finished third on aggregate at this year's Catterline Carties, missing second place by just 7 hundreths of a second. Although this is the best result we've ever had, it was also rather disappointing as we were in first place at the end of the second run. The course was very difficult and the placement of the cones on the corners meant that the fastest lines were denied to the larger carties, so the smaller ones had a distinct advantage.

The Greased Weasel suffered somewhat from poor preparation as I hadn't had time to free up the bearings after having left it out in the fresh sea air for the last twelve months, but at least it managed three incident free runs, which is a distinct improvement on previous years.
There is some onboard footage of the Ferret's first run
